: the strength or force that allows something to continue or to grow stronger or faster as time passes

Does the word momentum have anything to do with reaching goals and living a positive life?  I think that momentum is a huge word !

Do you have goals, dreams, hopes and desires ?  Of course you do , Dreams are what continue to keep a person moving forward in life, stop dreaming , stop living !

Being a positive, up-beat person takes work. Takes training in the mind, and takes acts of intentional momentum.  We are either living or we are dying ! Ask yourself are you living today, really , truly living a life filled with forward momentum and being all that you can be ?  I don't mean bursts of energy that create manic upward motion and then a crash.  I mean solid , forward motion, building your life on solid ground so that when life hits, the storms of life hit , you are sustained and can stand strong in the storm and continue to go forward and not waver.  This is not a part time Job, being strong and standing firm, and re-training your thoughts is a daily routine.  We live in such a fast paced society today, that loosing yourself is easy. 

In order to achieve anything a person must first believe that he/she can. That belief must be watered by good thoughts, actions and prayer.  Prayer is the key to momentum and positive results.  Not competition , not jealously , not the I will be better than another person or get more at any cost. NO that is not positive that is Evil and will not last.  The only way to change is from the inside out, and then the outside changes. A man is known by the over flow of his mouth, what you say and do outwardly is what dwells with in your thoughts, and Heart.  If you are always up and down in a certain area in your life, write about it, journal, pray, let go. God is not interested in begging, He knows what you need before you do. Ask him, then surrender to the fact that if it is in his will for you , you will receive , but you have to do the work, God wants to see you put action behind your faith. Faith with out works is nil.

Find out why you continue to go forward, and then back wards, what inside is lacking. How can you continue to keep forward momentum and change from patterns. It starts with a choice, you choose to change, and then you do what ever it takes , no matter what. " Ask God to release the chains that hold you down, and be prepared to fight the battle with him as your armor . Once you have his word that is the sword that cuts through all strife, disappointment, greed, lack , pity, self loathing , all the negative thoughts , the word of God is the truth and the truth sets captives free Armor of God http://www.wikihow.com/Put-on-the-Armor-of-God These are action steps, and require practice, pray out loud, and use the word to lift your momentum. Momentum means to grow and move forward. What ever is holding you back, the bible has a solution for. 

My prayer is that if you are struggling with anything, Family, holidays, food, addiction, marriage , family friends, our plates are full, its time to give them to the one who gives life.   " Father God, forgive us , for we do not know what we do, our thoughts are not your thoughts, we loss focus Lord and we feel at times we know best, Father God , speak to us, guide us, show us the way to your plan and allow us to walk, the narrow road, build in us momentum, to go forward, to change, to say NO to the things that harm us, to continue to walk in love and respect, show us how to love our neighbor and show us how to love self. Treat us as we would treat you , if you were in the room with us in the physical body, Lord, lift us up and forgive us. Show us how to stay focused on your will and your way, show us the work that you want our hands to do, give us the people that we are suppose to have, let us walk in the light and believe that your word is sufficient, sustain us lord in the times of trouble, allow us to build on solid ground so that when the winds blow , we can stand strong and say that the Lord is my rock."

I prayed for you Luke 22: 32

Any one can copy paste as I did. However the message is that Jesus prayed for you. Read scripture verse 31 and 32. Satan wants to sift you as wheat.

Can you imagine being tossed to and from in a sifter, because Satan is at work in the world, Oh this is so powerful. I do hope you read all the way through, All though it is about Passover, It is relevant today as it is every day.  Your friends will deny the truth and shun what they do not wish to see. Truth is uncommon and they will walk in the ways of the flesh , filling the desires of the heart, Not the God conscience that they have been filled with through the spirit.  The path is so narrow, My friend. Please consider how narrow. We all may find that we need to tighten up , and stop denying that one that stretched out his hands and arms for you and Died. He came so that we may have life and have it abundantly, " I think abundantly is directed towards the full fruits of the spirit. Not your bank account, your net worth as a earthly citizen, but your net WORTH as a child of GOD. Do you know who you are ?  He draws you near to him, so that you may be presented as righteous, holy, and pure.  To Jesus you are everything. He loves you . No matter what you have done, where you have been, who you have hurt, There is a prayer for salvation, that turns into a belief that transforms everything about you. Your a citizen of heaven and you have an inheritance that you can't even imagine.  Do not be confused by the material things of this world, The king of Darkness wants to keep you busy, busy, busy, distraction after distraction, Need after Need. With Jesus you can find rest. Trust , Love, Joy, Happiness.

Ask yourself are you truly Joyful, I mean down in the pit of your stomach, JOYFUL. If not turn to him who is worthy of " PRAISE"  and " WORSHIP ". You can't loose, God wants to redeem your life, like and exchange , but you have to ask, accept, believe and then live inside His will, not 1/2 the time but all the time, When you fall short repent, ask for forgiveness, then stop that behavior, because power is exalted and lifted high to those who ask. We have no "POWER" because we do not ask for it. We are made in his image, that means you have a POWER supply. Seek ye the kingdom of God and all things will be known to you. You have to seek, knock and then answer when he calls. Faith without work is dead.

I hope this blesses you and gets you to thinking about the real reason your here, how God has spared your life and brought you out of the darkness, the faith of a mustard seed is all you need, Then read, pray and march on like a Child of God, loved and flawless, He has given you a new spirit. When they see Me, ( you ) what do they see. Make them want Jesus, Thirst for him. Be a disciple of the King.

Judas Agrees to Betray Jesus

22 Now the Festival of Unleavened Bread, called the Passover, was approaching, ² and the chief priests and the teachers of the law were looking for some way to get rid of Jesus, for they were afraid of the people. ³ Then Satan entered Judas, called Iscariot, one of the Twelve. ⁴ And Judas went to the chief priests and the officers of the temple guard and discussed with them how he might betray Jesus. ⁵ They were delighted and agreed to give him money. ⁶ He consented, and watched for an opportunity to hand Jesus over to them when no crowd was present.

The Last Supper

⁷ Then came the day of Unleavened Bread on which the Passover lamb had to be sacrificed. ⁸ Jesus sent Peter and John, saying, “Go and make preparations for us to eat the Passover.”
⁹ “Where do you want us to prepare for it?” they asked.
¹⁰ He replied, “As you enter the city, a man carrying a jar of water will meet you. Follow him to the house that he enters, ¹¹ and say to the owner of the house, ‘The Teacher asks: Where is the guest room, where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?’ ¹² He will show you a large room upstairs, all furnished. ³⁴ Jesus answered, “I tell you, Peter, before the rooster crows today, you will deny three times that you know me.”
³⁵ Then Jesus asked them, “When I sent you without purse, bag or sandals, did you lack anything?”
“Nothing,” they answered.
³⁶ He said to them, “But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don’t have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one. ³⁷ It is written: ‘And he was numbered with the transgressors’^[b]; and I tell you that this must be fulfilled in me. Yes, what is written about me is reaching its fulfillment.”
³⁸ The disciples said, “See, Lord, here are two swords.”
“That’s enough!” he replied.

Staying in God's Love

How do we know what is true, what is pure and what is righteous ?  We listen to people all day long every day , tell us what way to go, music , media, preachers, teachers, everyone has the right path to follow, but did you know that the true path, the true way the only way to the path was through Jesus Christ the Son of God. He is the way , the truth and the life.

After reading the open statement,  I pray that you follow along, grab your bible, find out for yourself if what I am sharing is true.  Always seek first the kingdom of God and all things will be shown to you.

                                           JUDE 17-23

Your ministry is coming along well and suddenly , your asking yourself why is it that something just does not seem right, the atmosphere is changing and you can not put your finger on it. Well friends, Remember this " it is not something strange " 17-19

There are going to be those who come along and divide and separate the good, the Will of God, those that are seeking His kingdom and doing his work, they will corrupt and follow their own selfish , fleshly desires and they will do it through Gossip, through immoralities and through wants and needs that feed the human flesh and the darkness of this age. They want to follow and obey the word of God, yet they allow the emotions to direct the path they live instead of dying daily and being new in Christ , they live for today, devouring what ever they may. " This is in your body of Christ , the church you worship in and attend .

                            Remember to take care of your self spiritually vv 20-21

Prayer is talking to God, and Prayer is what unlocks the answers when we listen to the direction of the Holy spirit that dwells in us, Have you ever just been at a loss for words in prayer, then suddenly words came and embraced your prayer that were not your own. That is the workings of the Holy Spirit you have dwelling in you and working through you , because you are a Child of the King and you have been redeemed.  Obeying Gods word builds you up , you have the defense and the sword on your side, to be faithful and to see those that are coming , that do not believe that try and twist the truth. Those that are living in sin, and yet attending worship, praising and believing that the wages of the Sin they are living is, does not really matter to God because his grace forgives them.  OH my friend, Grace is not a card to go forward and to Sin, the bible makes it very clear , about Obedience and diligence . We are not given a free pass to do what ever makes the flesh feel good, just because we can, and God forgives.  I would hate to get to the end of the path and find out that by know means did his Grace allow me to continue in sin, once I have been taught better.  The only way to learn, is to read the leaves of life ( BIBLE ) pray and be a diligent servant and follow his commandments. Not living on foolish desires that fade away and are temporal to this earth.

We have Hope that the Kingdom to come is much more worth loosing the desire of the flesh and turning away from sin, Those come into the church as if something strange is happening and they listen to the corruption that others plant in the thirsty ears , and they start to divide and separate what the One true God had intended , the one true road map to life in Christ, they start to minimize and deduct the teaching of the Lord and they add there own recipe to fit the needs of the selfish desires that are defiling the church and the members in the church. Jude was on a mission to share the truth that The doubters, the distant and the deniers  were going to pull and separate those who love Christ and are doing his Will.

Colossians 2:6-8

 

Spiritual Fullness in Christ

⁶ So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, ⁷ rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.
⁸ See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces^[a] of this world rather than on Christ.

Ephesians 2:19-22

 

¹⁹ Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, ²⁰ built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. ²¹ In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. ²² And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.

There is that word Spirit again, That is the Holy spirit that dwells in you, build a relationship with this power, Your temple is a Holy temple, Jesus Christ is the cornerstone ! Wow think about that for awhile !

Ephesians 6:18

 

¹⁸ And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

This scripture is telling us to pray on ALL occasions, with all kinds of prayer. Let me tell you that HELP is a powerful prayer, when you do not know what to do, HELP, has power to turn the colors of darkness in your life over to the power of the Light.
The most powerful prayer I have ever prayed was this " I don't know, but GOD I know you know, so guide me, lead me , take my will and my life and show me.

Jude 1:17-23

 

A Call to Persevere

¹⁷ But, dear friends, remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold. ¹⁸ They said to you, “In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires.” ¹⁹ These are the people who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit.
²⁰ But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, ²¹ keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.
²² Be merciful to those who doubt; ²³ save others by snatching them from the fire; to others show mercy, mixed with fear—hating even the clothing stained by corrupted flesh.^[a]

But Dear Friends remember , read above over and over again. We all know a scoffer, someone who follows there own ungodly desires, These are those who divide you, they follow natural instinct and do not have the spirit. ( Yet raise the hands and sing songs of praise, walk away and sin, using the grace card, to be forgiven , NOT SO FRIENDS..

Our Job --- is to be merciful to those who doubt, fellow followers of CHRIST, we have the power to snatch THEM from the fire. We should do this with a trembling of fear of the Lord, a calling to tell the truth, even to friends, who are doing things that are not Godly. We are called to snatch them from the " FIRE " !  We have the ability to tread lightly yet show mercy and speak truth.

Are you willing to build yourself up first spiritually in Christ so that when you run into those who are doubters, and unbelievers, and corrupted in every way. Are you willing to spend time with them to share the truth, of the living Gospel, The love of Jesus Christ.  Can you offer practical help with compassion ?

1 Thessalonians 5:8-11

 

⁸ But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet. ⁹ For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. ¹⁰ He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him. ¹¹ Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.  ( awake or asleep means dead or alive ) in Him.

Do you know that Mercy bends down real low, to build up others in his love.

My prayer is that you found truth in this reading and that you search your heart, many are among us who are distant, yet show up every Sunday, smiling and acting as if all is well. The spirit will show you how to talk, who to talk to , are you ready to listen to the prompt . God is making all things New, his love can never fail.
Are you willing to show someone the real facts, the real truth, are you willing to show someone the finished works of Christ. No more excuses, Grace is not a license to sin !

Lord, may these words touch the life of some, may it change the life of many, may it bear good fruits and be wholesome truths based from your spirit and not mine. In your holy , precious name I pray.

Dear God I am applying for a position in your kingdom . I have previous experience in being a great sinner and a unlovely Human being to your son Jesus Christ.

My past few Jobs :

1) In the past I did what ever felt good and what ever I wanted to in order to deal with life and I never trusted a loving God or his Son.

2) All the things on earth I though were mine and never realized that you created all things in for us to live a peaceful and abundant life. I defiled your name and never praised you .

3) I was disobedient and feed my desires with thoughts of consequences .

4) I never shared your love or spread the God news about your love and reverence .

Why I qualify :

God, there was a moment of clarity many times in the past , were I realized I should turn my will and my life over to you, however those times were only for selfish gain and rescue, never planting my seeds on solid soil . I was again found my self in ever a worse situation then before I surrender with only 1/2 of my will.

Today on 11/9/13 I am applying for serventhood, stewardship , to be a disciple of Jesus Christ and I am able to fulfill this position because I am saved and forgiven, I have been redeemed and justified through your Son, and I am covered in his blood, protected and forgiven .

God I do your work, I endure your plans, I wait on you and you strengthen and re-new my mind, my actions and my will daily.

You qualify the broken, you heal the hurting, you raise up the poor and push down the hand of oppression. Lord because of your Son and my Salvation. Today I am faithful , putting aside desire and need in order to serve you and your kingdom, your children, you have given me life and broke the chains, in order for me to be a chain breaker through you as well.

I am applying for this position because you called me to share what I been through, how you carried me when I seen only one set of footprints in the sand.

They say that large things come in small packages.  Well the Book of Titus 1 and the Book of Titus 2 and not very long,  however they are packed with powerful words on what a Christian called to serve looks like and acts like ! 

I want to be your hands ,  I want to be your feet.

 

 

What does it look like to serve a loving God ?  What does suffering for Him mean ? Why do so many terrible things happen to good people ?  I know everyone has wondered this at some time or another .

            Have you ever blamed God for letting you down ?

We all have questions and seek answers, we all at certain points in life feel that God has forsaken us and that the situation or circumstance that we are facing is hopeless. My friend, a explanation is available to us it has all been written. Due to dis-obedience and self seeking desires we begin to fall away from the truth, the very exact truth that breeds life and sets us free from bondage. God knows the plans that he has for us and we are allowed to stray from them, bringing about spiritual pain, emotional stress, financial ruins, until we have had enough we are not going to seek his face in all our affairs. The bible makes if very clear that the path is very narrow, however the path becomes so wide open when we live in obedience and daily die to the flesh. God wants to bless and praise you, and in return he asks us to go forth and bless and praise the land you posses. ( The land I posses ) WHAT ?  Yes, that is correct the land you posses. Were ever you are , what ever you are doing, we are to teach sound doctrine, approved and accepted through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Titus 2:11 -- For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. ¹² It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, ¹³ while we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, ¹⁴ who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.

Say what ? Say "NO" to all the things my flesh cries out for. Yes dear brother, SAY NO ! When you are set apart and holy and righteous in His eyes, and walking in His ways, The word NO flows from you lips like water flowing from a faucet. The reason is because in today's society its a YES , society, everyone wants to be accepted not counting the cost ! Not doing the research and aligning it to scripture. Example -- Everyone is doing it, it can't be so bad, or maybe you use the Grace card as a excuse to go forth and just do what ever you want to do, because you are already forgiven in Him. Well my friend , the bible tells us, that it is better for a man to never have had Jesus as his savior, than it is to have had him and to fall away from his Mercy and Grace, it is like crucifying Him all over again, not believing who He said he is. God is not capable of lying. ( for a side note those little white lies that we spread in order to protect or deny the truth, is not little at all, it is dark, and deceitful and detests the Lord. What flows from the lips is what lives in the overflow of the heart . Honesty is always best, the truth sets captives free.

We have a mission field , whatever your doing, wherever you may be at that is your field to share the gospel the unfailing love of Jesus, the redemption and justification that has been given to you, we are to be a light in the dark, and this world is dark, even on its brightest day.

Do not be deceived for everything that God has, and that is all things, the devil has them too, after all he was cast out because of his arrogance, beauty and disobedience . However their are 2/3 of angels working on your behalf and they are ever present in the time of trouble.

As a people, we have to learn how to praise His holy name in all things.  Well my friend Just died, Praise God, I broke my foot, Praise God, I just lost my Job Praise God. Praise God in all things and be anxious about nothing this is approved and acceptable worship.

Please take some time today to read, Titus 1 and 2. Do cross reference, and take notes, train your mind to focus on the finished work of Christ.
Titus 2:6 Similarly, encourage the young men to be self-controlled. ⁷ In everything set them an example by doing what is good. In your teaching show integrity, seriousness ⁸ and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned, so that those who oppose you may be ashamed because they have nothing bad to say about us.

We are teacher's what are you teaching, do your words match your lifestyle, what you do in private does that match what the public sees. When they look at you , do they see Him, and question , what is different in this person?  Why are they happy in the midst of this storm ? Why are they praising God for trouble?  The answer is simple , trouble shapes your character, your God character.  In order to be like Jesus , we must educate our selves on His character, casting aside our worldly ways and thoughts, actions and detestable ways for self seeking gain.

These are scary times and everyone needs a Savior, a Loving God, A God whom you can trust, A God who has promised to never leave or forsake you, although we have to have a heart condition that praises and believes that he is the resurrected Lord. He came , He died, He rose again, and He is the living Water, the very breath of life.

He has called us to serve, given to each of us a talent and a gift , so many have know idea what that talent is , that gift.  Well if your compassionate, that is your talent, if your blessed with words, that is your talent. It is simple to learn, God gives wisdom to those who seek his heart and seek his face. He shows himself  in miracles, signs and wonders. He is the supernatural, He is the Power source that we lack , He is the alpha and the omega. He is the one who created all things. Learn to depend on his Power and not self-seeking power, Set apart from Jesus we can do nothing that lasts. Nothing. When our seeds are planted in healthy soil, we reap a harvest fit for a king. Fit for a king because he wants us to have all his promises and all his blessing, On earth and in heaven. Learn to pray, and pray out loud, learn to praise , and praise out loud, Learn to sing, Joy will come into your heart. There is NO other name. The power is in the blood, the blood of Jesus, he bore your sin, so that you can walk blameless , forgiven, holding your head high, then sharing His love, and being called to reach the lost, the broken, the adulterer, the drunkard, the lazy , the greedy, there are seven deadly sins. Learn about them. What starts in the darkness, breeds in the emptiness , what shines in the light dies to the love of Christ. Character, learn his Character, then walk in faith, faith is an action word. Faith without works is dead. The Lord can and will break every chain.  Please listen to the song below. Touch someone today, that is unlovable , we are all unlovable , but because He came we are loved and we are a love worth living for, through Him

Do you know that all of us human beings are made up of mind , body and soul.  What a profound thought to ponder, spending time thinking about 3 components that create life or existence, maybe even just survival.  What make a man/women successful ?  Have you ever truly considered the Gym that you have built in.  The God your mine, Gym that everyone is born with.

We are born innocent and are lead astray by programming of others, self doubts, failures, and false belief systems.  Have you ever looked at someone and they seem as peaceful as a calm sea, nothing can move them and they are not shaken by circumstances in life, there appearance is fit, there mind is clear, there bank account is plentiful and the words they speak are kind and soft, compassionate and they rarely have anger.

Chances are they exercise there mind in the word of God, in truth and purity, there faith is so strong that nothing can move them, they believe in things unseen and they know that nothing can separate them from the love of the Father, The God of the universe, who created everything.

I want that kind of unshaken, faith, that when things look bleak , I do not have to worry, or fret. I want the promises that God has laid out in scripture to those who believe and live according to his will.  So many people question - What is Gods will for my life, it is written down in the bible.  He gives us instructions for all things.

Being of carnal mind, we want to see the results, we want to touch the evidence , we want to hear the voice, rarely is it audio, we want to have the fruits with out the work.  

When one can turn his mind to the throne and focus on the good will and Christ and the reason God sent his only Son, to end the anger and to set man free from his sinful nature, that is when true transformation will come, do not be confused, it will not be easy, you must be willing to die to the flesh daily. Trusting that being aligned to His will , is going to be a proven way of quality living. Everything under the sun is for your taking, Good will, Good health, Good living, but first we have to set aside the things in the world that we want. We have to exercise the GYM , The God your mine and I turn it all over to you.  The Lord renews strength daily, and some days all we can do is rest in him and know that we are going to rise up again, Even Jesus slept and they all doubted he could preform miracles, but He did and in His perfect timing not ours.  We want what we want and we want it NOW.

I am a single women on a journey with God, a journey to build my Temple for him, and OH boy , I fall short, however he already knows that. That is not an excuse and I do not TRUMP the grace card.  I work daily to die to self, easy never, Worth it of course, He wants me to be faithful so that He can bless me and give me the desires of my heart.  Everything else comes after I find my faith in him.

How many times have we said, OK this time, I got to do this, or maybe tomorrow, God wants it all and He wants it Now. Tomorrow is today. Take my will and guide me . It is spiritual in nature, and that in turn brings change in the physical being and the mental status that one walks in.   To be positive in God is to be loving in nature , forgiving, the one we need to love the most and forgive the most is SELF. Put aside your past, your failure, because if you are born again, you are a new creature . He changes everything when you let Him direct your paths, He will place your feet on the correct path. We must die to self, that means everything must change.

I am writing from personal experience and yes I have my struggles, however, I rise up again, and always count on Him to lift me up. Experience has taught me that its a personal relationship with Jesus Christ the Son of God. 

Let's start with building or house, or temple, or minds on solid truths, solid foundations, so that when life shows up we do not crumble, but reach for His promises. Proclaim His truths, speak them out loud, and the walk in faith. The combination is a Heart affair, nothing more, nothing less. We all can be living in Peace and serenity.  Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.  Start talking good self talk,  tell your self your beautiful and that you love yourself and that God makes no Junk, that whatever your facing between His power and your desire , you have a inheritance not only here on earth but as it is in heaven.

My prayer for whom ever may read this is that you realize your a treasure, He knows the hairs on your head, and He knows what your heart desires, Speak loving kind things. Exercise your spiritual mind, and your carnal mind will change, your first thoughts will be on Him and His promise for life, not yours, or plans are not his plans, Thank God.

What ever you need, physical, mental, spiritual, financial, He wants you to petition Him and proclaim His promise, He already knows it He knows everything. He wants it to flow out of your mouth, out of the overflow of your heart, He wants to hear that you believe He said it and it is true.

This may sound complicated, but really it is simple, Jesus, taught in parables pictures and simplicity, He was not a complicated man, just a Faithful Sinless Son of a God who created everything.  What does it take to surrender it all. Throw your hands up and say here I am take my will and my life show me how to live, then walk , walk and talk, like your mean it, time will prevail and Jesus will never fail.

Yo-Yo

 

Have you ever felt like a Y0-YO

Your up, your down, your been tossed around, Others have hurt you , you have hurt others.  Have you ever just felt like a Yo-Yo ?

 

Life is a series of events , good , bad and indifferent !  We all know the yoyo affect on our lives and in the life of our friends.

 

Always making new resolutions and promises to self and to others and following through until the going gets tough, then we quit and find ourselves wondering if we can ever accomplish our goals.

 

There is a solution to your up and down roller coaster life,  a ever lasting resolve to find your "Y"

 

Finding your why in life will open the door, to your what, where, who you are and what you are here for. Finding your why is that spark that will create a desire to push forward like you have never pushed before.

 

How do you find our why, our motivation to want to be the best we can be daily, and consistently ?

 

The answer was written well over 2000 years ago.  Every question you and I have for life, is written down in a book a basic instruction before leaving earth, because face it we are all going to face death one day and wonder what could have been different, when we start questioning the why of our own personal life, we open the door for something much larger than yourself to come in and start working in every area of our make up, the spiritual , the physical, the mental and the supernatural part of us that we all have the ability to tap into , we must seek out the answers through prayer, honest appraisal of who we are, what we have become, how we have gotten to that place and what we want to do to change it.  

 

A complete psychic change has to occur in order for someone to change from the inside out.

 

Many will cry out, but you don't understand I try, I pray and yet I remain stuck , stuck in the same old patterns and nothing changes.  Well, yes this may be true , so many times we think we are giving it 100% when really what we are doing is mixing our own ingredients with some biblical principals because we are afraid of letting go and the unknown .  

The YO_YO is actually comfortable and we know the pain of staying the same,  it is the pain of change that we fear.  Fear means to forget everything and run. OR Face everything and recover.

 

If you are like me and you are tired of being stung along by your own yo yo mentality the good news is you can change .

 

Here are the steps we take in order to change, First we need to admit the need for change, know one ever wants to admit complete defeat.  However admission is powerful and it opens the doors for this power to take over. That power is a loving God as he expresses himself to you and in the things around you, people , places, and things, God can be seen in it all, You must look.

 

After we admit this profound need to change, we start to examine or ways and look at our life, we forgive those who have harmed us and we ask for forgiveness to those we have harmed.

 

We make a list of assets and liabilities , we are neither all bad or all good. We write everything we think about, holding nothing back. The things that have been done to us and the things we have done to others, the reason we live in a yo yo mentality is because we always make resolution to change, but then run from the pain involved of emptying the emotional baggage we carry with us daily, staying stuck in a cycle, of up and down. 

 

We can find a constant flow of peace and serenity if we are willing to be uncomfortable for a undetermined amount of time, Cut that string to your yo yo mentality and live in abundance of the God things that God has for you ! 

    

Here is an example : Abraham looked squarely at the facts yet did not waver in his view of the future. So many times we either do not face the reality of the situation we are in and go into a blind optimism, or we get so caught up in our current situation that we become a pessimist. But God has the power to deliver us and Abraham stands as a witness on how to believe God in the midst of our life situations.

 

If you do not know the story of Abraham, I strongly suggest you learn about it from the bible, and let your faith build.

Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead—since he was about a hundred years old—and that Sarah’s womb was also dead. Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised. – Romans 4:19-21

Many promises await you, if you are willing to take a deep honest appraisal of your life, change is possible over time when you put your trust in a Loving God , who stretched out his arms for you and said " It is Finished" .  Every single battle that you and I face, has a solution.  The bible tells us to let your YES be YES and your NO be NO. That is how we cut the cord from the yo-yo lifestyle and start living in harmony of His will for our life. Easy Never, however it is a process of constant communication with your creator.  Diligent obedience to die daily to your wants, your flesh, your human desires.  As Humans, starting in the Garden we are automatically programed to sin. It is our nature.  Jesus came so that we may have life.  Learn who you are, and what makes you tick, what is your motive, what is your motivation and find out your WHY?

The last point that I would like to share with you, is personal responsibility , we can't save our face and our reputation at the same time. You must get honest about all things , everything that you have ever done, or have had done to you, placing these things into there proper perspective will allow you to move forward In the healing light of God, and will allow you to find peace that passes all understanding. You will know longer feel like a yo yo up and down, and pushed around in a world of hurting people. Hurt people hurt people, Jesus saves. He conforms the hurting heart and repairs the broken and places them on Holy land. Set apart from the world, we are in the world but not of the world.  When we are willing to do the work, take one step and God will take two. 

Pray often : Dear God, I don't know what you want from me, but I am willing to learn if you show me.  I am tired of living in the yo yo and I want to live in you, safe, steady, constant, Joy, peace, love, understanding.  I know that your real, and I believe that you died for me.  I RECEIVE what you have to offer me and I am willing to do the work.  I am throwing in the towel of surrender and praising your loving name for the work that you are doing in and through me. When I am weak you are strong, your words never come back void.  If you prayed this prayer and you believe that he Is Alpha and Omega, then start walking and talking and acting like you believe, HE will do the rest. Open your hands and say YES Lord, here I am . I am signed , sealed and delivered in you. I am set apart and Holy.  Amen !

Write down your resentments
Share them with a friend or a pastor, or an accountability partner.
Release the shame and the pain of your past, forgive those who have harmed you.
Be kind and loving in all your affairs, take an honest appraisal of your life, WHY are you where you are, how did you get to this place.
Completely surrender and march forward to the prize.

Please be encouraged by this blog, this is a non- fail formula for those who work it. Work it your worth it.

Open Your Treasure Chest

                                                                                                                                                                                                             

 

For wherever your treasure is there will also be the desire or your heart !

 

Remembering back when I was a little girl, my parents would always take us to a pizza parlor in Chicago . We enjoyed a meal and when it was time to go they had a toy treasure chest, I was always so excited to reach in and pull out my treasure. I would play with the toys for a day or two and then they would break.

 

 

I loved playing with all my toys and having a good time with friends, we played and we played hard ! We had clubs and dress up days, backward sock days and sports were a must, softball, swimming you name it, Kick the can, tents made out of blankets hung over a clothes line. We all had things we treasured to do and loved doing.

 

Growing up and turning into an adult, I learned that things outside of myself would make me feel good and that I would not have to deal with emotions and feelings, I could hide behind things, behind sports, behind music, behind friendships that did not require honesty or integrity, almost like being a feather in the wind, blowing with the winds of change and never thinking to much about the consequences. Playing and being busy even as a child allowed me to hide from the great dysfunction that was surrounded in my home. The fighting and arguing that went on was horrible.

 

I remember seeing and hearing things that a little girl never should have experienced. I was constantly reaching for things in the world to take away the pain and the hurt from the things going on in our family life , I loved roller skating and every Friday night you could find me at Fireside roller rink, skating till I could not skate any longer.  I always wanted to be a part of a team a yearning for stability and organization in the life of a young girl that had none.

In school my academics were average until I reached high school and my parents divorced .

Once again another part of my life fell apart, even though the relationship they had was destructive and hateful , it was better to be in a broken home than to be in a split home. I ended up being a pawn between my parents.

 

Many things happened between the age of 13 and 21 before I had my first and only born child. A child that would end up going through his own difficulties because of choices made by a family he was born into.

I am wondering all this time who " Treasures " me ! Well My Daddy did, and he was the best man I ever knew in my life , yet at the early age of 21 Daddy died from a heart attack very quickly and I know longer had my protector my hero, my treasure, I was lost alone and scared, and now I had a 10month old baby as well , that I treasured.

Things got worse before they got better, I ended allowing my Mother and Step Father care for my son as I became lost in the world, lost in a distorted view of life and what life was about. Again I sought my hearts desires, and treasures in things and in man. Ending up experiencing things that a Young women had NO business experiencing , doing, or being involved in.  I searched for everything to find love, to find someone or something that would treasure me. A safe place .  I never found one, not for to long anyway, everything always ended in hurt, pain and negative consequences, the road traveled was long and painful.

Now all this time I had a concept of a God, however he was a God of Circumstance not a God of  omnipotent power, but I rescue God, one that would save me from trouble and give me another chance, during those times of seeking Him He would do for me, just about what I was willing to do for my self, Yet I know he kept me safe through the days of my insanity and he protected me in the trenches of my pain.

The journey was long and a hard won process, over and over again, I would start to re-build my life and re-commit - THIS TIME I got this, I will conform and change. NEVER happened for very long on my own power, I would rebuild and the flow of emotions would kick in, and life would become difficult and feelings would overwhelm me and low and behold , I was back , in the old ways of my human nature.

Years and years this pattern went on, till one day I woke up and I was 41 years old, tired, alone , spiritual broken. I learned how to pray years ago, and I believed years ago that something was watching over me and had me covered, I decided to start the Journey for the rest of my life, again, it did not just come because I made that decision, there was work to do and lots of it, restructuring of my heart, mind, body and soul. EVERYTHING HAD TO CHANGE. 

I made a move 1000 miles away to change, well, when I got there, guess who was there? Yep that is right ME- looking at me, now what ? Well , I moved to the bible belt of south Carolina, and met many people that, as a weekly part of life attended Church, and although I been in church on and off again, my whole life, it was different, I saw something they had that I wanted. I kept coming back. I started reading, the bible, I started praying, and although I continued in my ways for awhile longer. Finally one day in May of 2012 all my life experience's caught up with each other and I was standing on a road, called McRae St, In Camden South Carolina, completely Broken , the walking dead. I could not face another breath, I could not take another step, the only way out was down, down on both knees , crying out to this power above, take me, show me, I need you, I cant do it know more. I had to let go every treasure here on earth that I ever counted on, that allowed me to not feel the pain of life, I was running and I ran hard for over 40 years. Nothing ever work, until that day that I fell to the ground, It was a feeling of opening a Treasure Chest and inside was all good things, things that would love me, have faith in me, hold me, comfort me, I found Jesus that day, when I opened up that chest. Really what I did was release all the garbage I been caring for years, thinking in my own strength I could live a life and be happy, Not true with finding him , I would never be where I am at today.

Today I have a treasure chest of hope, love, patience, kindness, tolerance, peace, faith, endurance, integrity, I have found a Treasure that you can not reach out and physically touch, yet through nature and other people and the depths of the ocean, the blowing of the leaves, the running of the animals, you can see He is real and a living treasure, A God , who was , who is and who always will be.

I have written this today, because when I woke up, I was convinced that someone needs to know that know matter what you have done, know matter where you have been, that there is a Treasure box available at your feet, a spiritual tool kit, filled with lovely  and pure things for YOU. It is all YOURS. It is not free, you have paid your dues, to Open this box, A treasure chest of hope and light is waiting for you. Build with it, from what you find inside when you open it. YOU ARE THE TREASURE, release the locks and bondage that hold you down, A loyal and faithful Loving GOD awaits you. He will wash your sins away and cleanse you white as snow.

 

Nothing you can do or say will chase Him away, He has always been in your life, He is the Head of your life and if you let him in, He will guide you and deliver you !

Come to the well and drink from His living water and you will never thirst again.

Pray with me this simple prayer of salvation

 

Dear Lord

I know I am a sinner and have strayed from the calling you had for me, lord forgive me and please I open my heart to you today, I know now Lord that you sent your son Jesus for me, so that I may live, I believe that He died and rose again, so that I may be forgiven, I want to serve you and my fellow man, I want to walk in the light of your love, I want to treasure you Lord as you have always treasured me your child. Thank you Lord for doing for me , what I never could do for myself, I am your child and you are my Father. Thank you.

 

 

Congratulations you are NEW. The old you has just died. CELEBRATE your life will never be the same, Find a Church , Get a friend to talk to and open up, get rid of the weight and garbage that has filled your spirit and held you down, YOUR BONDAGE free, what you do from this moment on will never be the same, the spirit has come and will teach you. Allow this to happen, You will find your treasures in heaven and not in this world.
